Tree Shapes Thames

We are based in Thames and provide arborist services to the Coromandel, Hauraki Plains, and Matamata Piako areas.

Treeshapes was established in 2004 by myself, In 2006 we bought the local business Peninsula Tree surgeons which was a peninsula-wide tree business since 1993, to add to Treeshapes, we carry out all aspects of tree work, pruning, removals stump grinding, also hedges.

I trained in Hamilton in 1997 and after working on the tools for a few years graduated into management of crews and contracts for large tree company’s, my wife and I decided to move to Thames where there were really no work opportunities for my line of work, not wanting to commute to Auckland for work  I decided to establish my own business.

We are a team of 5 trained local Arborists who carry out private, commercial and council tree work, we are TCDC approved contractors and cover all of the peninsula, Hauraki Plains and Matamata Piako areas.

We carry out all manner of sizes of jobs, from small shrub pruning to large-scale tree dismantles, and Treeshapes is covered by 2 million public liability insurance.
